Cliche right?
Still, I had a dream in the middle of the day and I just woke up to rain and I had to write it down.
,
It was a dream where I was floating, much like I had a super-fast Segway scooter that could hover above the ground and rise to around 15 feet if I wanted to. I started out looking for something...what was it, I don't know. I approached this house near a beach, white chipped paint and frosted windows. I went in and heard some pianos playing lightly from a large room. I went down the small set of stairs and approached the sounds as I soon realized there were other sounds coming from other rooms and they were somewhat isolated, but not completely. There was a woman playing the piano...or maybe the piano was playing itself and the woman was dancing ballet. Anyways, she gave me a slight smile and continued on with her routine. There were other rooms I went to but I eventually came back to this one for it was where I felt the thing I was looking for was located. I couldn't pin point it and eventually the woman decided to stop and pack up. I followed her out of the building and realized I was ever so hungry (in real life too). I realized that I had been sent to send some letters and that I was very close to downtown Newburyport. I think these were bills that I was suppose to pay but I soon realized I had placed them in the large blue mail box that read Returning Mail . My drunken hunger had alluded me and I eventually had the capacity to navigate towards the CVS on Pond Street. I remember changing the architecture of the building and adding a slight hill in the front entrance. Inside it looked like a different kind of CVS, one that was established as a type of survival center with the bare necessities in tupperware, much like you'd find at a dollar store. I remember hearing a young boy jokingly say to his family "...I stopped reading because it doesn't matter..." Something along those lines. I had my eye on the ice cream sandwiches but could not decide as I was floating around the empty, lifeless store. Then a song started to play and I could feel myself pick up speed as I went around the aisles. These chords that sounded somewhat something like a Deadmau5 song, but my own, started to play.
I then woke up to the rain and I realized what I was looking for.
It's a community, it's a channel surfing network of communities that feature small groups, public and private, that are working on some specific project. This is so radically different then the facebook and twitter world we live in today. It's something so much more valuable than all other social platforms because it is selective and unique and focused. Don't like this group? Find another conversation that's going on in the world. Twitter is stupid because you have to announce to the entire world that you're having a conversation with one tiny person. The collaboration is nonexistent. This is the secret and this is the answer.
